Fun Games For Preschoolers
[dropcap]P[/dropcap]reschool age is full of fun, play and adventures and a preschooler’s world revolves around it.
They can grasp new ideas and learn better through games, and that can be quite difficult for the teacher or the parent to muddle through when imagination and enthusiasm is leveling down.
Playing with your child is the best opportunity for a fun bonding time.
You can get to know their personality better and a way to show that you can be a friend and not just a parent who provides all his needs.
It is a moment with pure joy to see your child smiling and laughing in its most genuine form.
If you think that playing with your preschooler is lousy and lame because you only know patty-cake and I Spy, then maybe it is high time to update your book of games and spend time going down on your fours for a pleasurable big grin activity with them.
There are simple yet fun games that you can use to entertain not only your child but also yourself. Here are 3 of them:
Fun Games For Preschoolers – Treasure Box
During a walk in the park or a stroll along the beach with your child or the whole family, find and collect things that are significant to that day and place that will make you both keep in mind why do you like that particular place or excursion.
Make sure to bring a camera so that you can take pictures of your child picking up a lovely flower or an interesting stone.
When you get home, decorate a box with art materials available like art papers, water colors or colorful magazines that would make the box more special. There you can put and keep the stuff you collected together on that special day.
Fun Games For Preschoolers – Where’s the bunny?
In a fine day, prepare a picnic mat or a blanket and lie on your back to look at the clouds rolling by. Forming different fascinating shapes and sizes, ask your child to find the bunny.
It will make them wonder and start imagining; just let them create what he wants to find. Then ask him the other things that he is seeing. Is that a whale? Could that be a butterfly? Don’t be afraid to be childish and have fun.
Fun Games For Preschoolers – Once upon a story chain
Kids love hearing stories and they love telling one too if you let them. You can start saying a story about a sad dinosaur or a beautiful Princess or mischievous mouse.
After some time, let them tell what happens next and let them do it for a while. You can add the next chapter of the story and so on and so forth.
Do not limit your child’s storytelling talent. Let them explore and add however they want the story would be or end.
Spending time with your child is not a duty but a privilege so make sure to make the most of it. Have fun with them and discover how beautiful and wonderful that little person that is not so little at all.
